Adventist Youth
A large portion of our church consists of a vibrant and participating group of young people who are excited about serving God and fellowshipping together. The youth department is a very active part of our church, where regular activities, both social and spiritual, are organized for and by young people. We have two of Sabbath school classes for young people, a teenager class and a young adult class, which meet on Saturday mornings to discuss various topics from the Bible. Additionally to meeting on Saturday mornings, we have regular worship services both on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Friday nights are characterized by their casual and intimate discussions, which take place in the church library. The youth organize AY meetings nearly every Sabbath afternoon, where we study the word of God through a variety of activities, discussions, and seminars.
Apart from spiritual activities, the youth of our church organize many social and recreational events, such as playing in Christian volleyball leagues, horseback riding, ski trips to Mount Tremblant, camping trips in the summertime, visiting other former-Yugoslav Adventist churches in American cities such as Chicago and Cleveland, as well as many other events.
Our primary goals are to worship the Lord in a loving environment of friendship and fellowship, and to inspire young people to serve God.
Our church is blessed with a surprisingly large amount of young people, and the numbers are ever growing as young people are constantly being prepared for baptism and are accepting Christ's salvation with excitement and conviction.
