Prayer Ministries
The vision of the prayer ministries department is to unite church members and implement prayer without ceasing while emphasizing its importance in the individual's and church's life as a whole. To be a group of prayerful support for all those in need of prayer.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, "Pray without ceasing". Prayer is the breath of the soul and the foundation on which our church lies. Through prayer, we give God the authority to direct our steps and put ourselves in the position to hear His voice. Our church recognizes the importance and power of prayer and, for this reason, takes time every week to consecrate solely to prayer. Every Wednesday evening at 7pm, we come together to dwell upon God's word and pray for our church and the existing needs.
Goals
We wish to grow in number and draw nearer to God, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace" Hebrews 4:16. You are welcome to join us on Wednesday evenings.
The Lord's Prayer
Matthew 6
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
But deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
